Dina is originally from Forest Hills in Queens. New York. But she changed her location into Dix Hills on Long Island just before she finished her senior year. Her sister is younger of Gregory as well as an older brother called Evan. At the age of 9 up to 16, she started working in the entertainment business via modelling. She began her training in acting with The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York and studied Sanford Meisner's techniques for acting along alongside Ron Stetson, for about three years. Sandra Bullock has received the similar training received by Jeff Goldblum and Leslie Nielsen. She was cast in Beverly Hills 90210, and was forced move to Los Angeles to take the lead role. Her first role was in Johnny Mnemonic. She did all the stunts of the movie, and it helped establish her as an athletic actor. Her agent for talent also represented Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent, she was able to get a regular role on Friends.
